Beauty MVPs

Have you ever found a beauty product that you love so much, that nothing else seems to compare? With the beauty industry constantly churning out new products, there always seems to be something bigger and better being released; But sometimes there are products you just can’t quit! These are the products that have been constant favorites for the past 2 or more years:

Boscia Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel: I first tried this cleanser back when I was in college, which has been 5 years now. I had been experiencing incredibly dry skin, and any drug store cleanser I tried seemed to exasperate the problem. I tried this on a whim and haven’t looked back since! Every once in a while I’ll get the itch to try something else, but nothing keeps my sensitive and dry skin clear like this product does. It has a very mild citrus scent, and melts away any makeup or grime on my face, without stripping my skin.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre: Although this is readily available in the US (Amazon, Target, etc), I didn’t try this product until I took a trip to Paris back in 2016. Again, I was having issues with my skin being so dry due to cold weather and being stuck in an airplane for 8 hours. I went into a French Pharmacy to browse all of the incredible skincare options not available to us in the US, and I decide to give this a try since it was so affordable. During the summer months this is a bit too heavy, but during the fall and winter this feels like heaven on my skin.

NARS Sheer Glow foundation: This has been a staple foundation in my collection for at least 4 years now, it’s that good. I find that this product provides a perfect medium-full coverage with a beautiful skin-like finish. If I have an event where I know I’ll be taking pictures with friends, this is the foundation I always use.

Mac Pro-Longwear concealer: MAC offers an incredible shade range, and beautiful full coverage finish while still looking very natural. I find that some full coverage concealers look artificial and heavy, but the formula on this product is so thin and pigmented that it blends beautifully. I have been using this concealer for 4 years, and so far nothing has come close to how easily this covers up my (very, very dark) under-eye circles.

Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara: I’ve tried a million high-end mascaras and nothing seems to provide the same volume and length that this product does. It’s incredibly affordable, which I appreciate since mascara has such a short shelf life. The formula is quite buildable, so you can apply one coat for a natural look or two (or three) for when you need some extra drama for your lashes. I have purchased countless tubes of this mascara for the past 3 years, and I don’t plan on stopping!

Well there you have it, these are the products that I have used on the daily for the past few years! What products have you found and loved that have stood the test of time?
